Elizabeth Collister
Biography:
Elizabeth is a Post-doctoral Fellow. She obtained her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering with a Polymer Specialization from the University of Akron. Her Ph.D. work was carried out at the University of Texas at Austin in the Willson Research group. The focus of her dissertation was nontraditional photolithography methods.
Her research interests are: enzymatic catalysis, green chemistry, photochemistry, and polymer nanocomposites.
Her recent work has focused on the creation of a multivalent targeted drug delivery system as part of a NSF Phase II SBIR grant. The system will have imaging, targeting, and therapeutic moieties.
