Attila Gergely
Biography:
Attila L. Gergely is a post doctoral fellow at the University of Akron. Attila has obtained his B.S. from the Sapientia University, Romania in 2008 and his M.S. from the Transylvania University, Romania in 2010 in Mechatronics Engineering. He joined Dr. Puskas’ group as a Ph.D. candidate in 2011.
His research interests include the synthesis and characterization of polyisobutylene (PIB) based thermoplastic elastomers using renewable co-monomers (such as Alloocimene ) via carbocationic polymerization.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Polymer Science at the University of Akron in May 2014.
