Welcome Eric and Samira!
Eric Devne is a first year PhD student in Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, where he graduated with Honors in chemical engineering. He completed an undergraduate thesis in the Puskas lab about the production and testing of transgenic natural rubber samples. In his free time, he likes to golf and exercise, and generally spend time outdoors.
Samira Wehmann is completing her masters in Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering. She completed her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University in biological engineering with a minor in biomedical engineering. She spent the summer working with Puskas’ lab and grew a passion for the 3D printer. She will continue her work with printing soft filaments. In her free time she enjoys walking her dog, exploring new areas, and spending time with friends.
