Malwina Niedźwiedź is seconded to the Ohio State University as part of the Green-Map Project, focusing on novel green polymeric materials for medical packaging and disposables to enhance hospital sustainability. Currently, she is working on her PhD at West Pomeranian University in Szczecin. Her research targets the production and characterization of photocurable biomaterials for medical applications. Here at the Ohio State University, Malwina will participate in activities related to the degradation of biopolymers. Konrad Walkowiak is also seconded to the Ohio State University in the framework of the Green-Map Project, which focuses on the development of innovative, eco-friendly polymeric materials intended for medical packaging and disposable items to enhance sustainability in medicine. Currently, he is a PhD student at the West Pomeranian University in Szczecin, focusing his research on polyesters and copolyesters based on plant-based raw materials. Here at the Ohio State University, Konrad will engage in research related to the degradation of biopolymers.
