Equipment Up and Running!

This week in lab, Khadar worked on fixing the Pyrolysis Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (Pyro-GC-MS) machine with the new Pyrolysis part! This machine is used for polymer identification, additive identification, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of components. This allows us to reduce sample preparation, use microgram samples, and study the polymeric structures of pure systems and multiblock polymers.
