Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering graduate student receives Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research Award at 2018 ACS NOLA

Jozsef Kantor, a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering working under Dr. Judit Puskas, received the Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research Award at the 255th ACS National Meeting, New Orleans, LA on 20th March, 2018. He was recommended by the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering to present his research on “Synthesis of Hydrolysis Resistant Polyisobutylene-based Polyurethanes” at the Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research Symposium, Division of Polymer Chemistry (POLY). He presented his research on a poster for which he was selected to receive the award. He also received a cash amount along with the certificate.
